1. Send a deletion request
These instructions apply to any Meta app or integration operated by Lipi One Pvt. Ltd. that links to this page, as well as Lipi website and service data.
Email hello@lipi.one with the subject “User Data Deletion Request.” You may make a request for website inquiry data, a Lipi service, or data received through a Meta integration.
- State your full name and the email address used with Lipi.
- Name the Lipi product, website interaction, or connected Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp service involved.
- Include your Meta username, Page name, business-account name, or app-scoped user ID if you know it. Do not send a password, access token, private key, or payment-card number.
- Describe whether you want all associated personal information deleted or only a specific account, integration, conversation, or submission.
2. Remove the Meta connection
You may also remove a connected app or business integration from the settings of the relevant Meta account. Revoking access prevents future access through that authorization but may not by itself identify every record already held by Lipi, so send the email request above if you also want Lipi-held data deleted.
3. Identity verification
To protect users, we may ask for limited information reasonably necessary to match the request to our records or confirm that you control the relevant account or business asset. We will never ask for your Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp password or for an active access token.
If an organization controls the data, we may route the request to its authorized administrator or follow the applicable enterprise agreement.
4. What happens next
We acknowledge complete requests without undue delay and aim to complete deletion within 30 calendar days. If more time is reasonably required because the request is complex, identity cannot be verified, or law requires preservation, we will explain the status using the contact method you provided.
When complete, we will send a human-readable confirmation or reference code. If we cannot delete a record, we will explain the category retained and the applicable reason.
5. What deletion covers
Deletion covers personal information in active Lipi-controlled systems that can reasonably be linked to the verified requester, including associated Meta Platform Data where applicable. We may de-identify information instead of deleting it when it can no longer identify or be linked to you.
Residual backup copies, where present, are restricted from ordinary use and overwritten through the applicable backup cycle. If a backup must be restored for disaster recovery, the deletion request will be reapplied where technically feasible.
6. Information we may retain
We may retain the minimum record required to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, document that a request was completed, or preserve records belonging to a client acting as controller. Retained information is restricted from unrelated use and deleted when the applicable obligation ends.
